Who I really am:
It's my goal to support others as they work through their health challenges and educate them on simple, affordable, easy-to- implement diet and lifestyle adjustments that can have a huge impact on their current and future health outlook.
The field of Natural Nutrition, along with a multitude of other alternative health modalities is booming and growing exponentially, largely because of public dissatisfaction with the current "sick care model" of health care. In frustration, many, including me, have sought other avenues when getting the "you're just depressed, I'll give you something for that"; "your blood tests are normal, so you are fine"; "you are just under stress"; "you just need to lose a few pounds" responses from their doctors. They send you home with a prescription or a curt "go on a diet" and that's it. You go home feeling no better and perhaps even worse thanks to the side effects of the medication.
While I'm a big fan of reading and researching on your own, my approach is all about you! Sometimes you just need someone to see things from a different perspective and coach you along on your health journey and I'm happy to help you from a place of "been there, done that" and "I wish I'd know that when I was struggling".
